Unusual, footed vanity, or jewelry, or trinket box that is an elongated, diamond shape, and has a hinged lid. The fancy lid has gold tone ormolu over red. and four blue, set facet cut rhinestones, with one larger, red on in the center. The inside is lined with a bright red, velveteen material. It measures 2&3/4 inches tall, by 5&1/2 across, at the widest point. Just beautiful, with its intricate and gold/brass tone finish. It's in excellent condition, and does not appear to have ever been used. Stamped on the bottom, Japan". Circa 1950-60.
