Just precious, original folio print from Currier & Ives, New York. The bow on her dress, and the canary are lightly color tinted. The unframed size is about 13&1/2 by 9&1/2, and the framed size is about 15&1/2 by 19&1/2. It was difficult to photograph because of the glare from the glass. There is no variation in color, or fading. The print is in excellent condition. There is a small, light spot on the background, upper, right hand side. If you look closely, you can see it in the photos. I am dating this from the 1850s to the 1870s, based on my research. There is no printed date. It was framed at a later date. The tasteful, double matting was popular in the 1970s-80s. The solid wood frame dates to the late 1800s-early 1900s. This was professionally framed, and looks great, although there are some dings in the wood frame, that could easily be touched up, if you should so desire. The glass is perfect. No cracks or scratches. Secure, and professional twisted wire for hanging. I apologize for the high shipping, but this weighs almost 4 pounds before the careful packing it will require to insure safe delivery.
