Colorful graphics all the way around this oval, tin lithograph lunch pail that was made In the U.S.A. by Ohio Art. It shows the progress of transportation from covered wagon and sailing ships, to modern (for the time) cars, trains and planes. It has the original handles, and is complete with its inner tray. It measures 4 inches tall, by 9 inches wide. All in all, pretty nice, but in used condition. Some small dents from the inside. I've included several photos to best describe condition.Scratches mostly to the top and the bottom, and all over age wear. Circa 1930s-40s. Marked "Ohio Art Co. 49, Made in U.S.A.".
From a small collection of vintage lunchboxes I recently purchased. In the coming week I will be adding the others. To see them all, type, "lunchbox" in the California Girls search box at the top of the page. As always, I am happy to combine shipping.
