Hard to find, vintage 1940s ,oval shaped, tin lithograph children's lunchbox that has colorful circus graphics all around, including a lion tamer and elephants on parade. The handles and the bright red lid and handles show some paint wear, but the main box is in very good/excellent condition. It has a couple of small scuffs, most notably on the yellow blanket on the lead elephant, and a small, shallow dent on one end that can be felt, but is not readily visible. It has wear that you would expect around the top from the lid being put on and taken off. Nice and clean. Used but not abused. I have included several photos that best describe condition. It measures 8 inches long, by 4 inches tall, not including the handles.
From a small collection of vintage lunchboxes I recently purchased. In the coming week I will be adding the others. To see them all, type, "lunchbox" in the California Girls search box at the top of the page. As always, I am happy to combine shipping.
If you are ordering more than 1 item from my shop, wait to pay until I send back an invoice with the combined shipping discount.
