1940s, advertising, bar display ashtray that features the bust of a distinguished gentleman holding a shot glass of Glenmore whiskey. It's clean, and does not appear to have been used. The shaded painting is intentional, and in my photos, it makes the chalkware look rough in places, especially on the back of the man's head, but it is just the paint. On the rim of the ashtray, above the embossed lettering, "Glenmore", and one small spot on his left temple, there are some dings in the beige paint, but no chips, cracks or repairs. It measures 4 inches tall, to the top of the man's head, and 4&3/4 inches in diameter.
