This group includes 3 tins and 3 glass bottles that range from 1920s-60s, and one cardboard box, "Silence is Golden" Children's formula cough lozenges. There are still 9 lozenges, sealed in foil inside. It's the newest in the group, dated 1973. It measures 3 inches square. The oldest in the group is a glass bottle that is 3 inches tall. It has embossed lettering that reads, "No Percentage Drug. Co. San Francisco", and dates to the early 1920s. The old glass is turning lavender, and it appears to have its original cork. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. The other two glass bottles are Bayer Aspirin, and are about half full. Both labels are in very good condition, both have the original, tin, screw on caps, both have embossed lettering on the bottle, and neither has any chips, or cracks. They are 2&1/2 inches tall. All of the tins have lithograph lettering...no paper labels. The Doan's pills tin is 2&1/2 inches tall, and in very good condition with some wear to the grean on the rim of the cap. The Spartan Aspirin tin is 2&1/2 inches wide by 1&3/4 tall. It has light scratches and surface wear. Otherwise, ver nice. No dents. None of the tins hane any rust. Lastly, is the Phillip's Milk Of Magnesia tin. It once held 30 tablets...there are 13 left inside! It shows just minor wear, and measures 2&1/2 by 2&3/4 inches. Both flat tins are clean on the inside, as well as the outside. An instant start to a collection of vintage medicine, or pharmacy items, and these are nice enough to add to an existing collection of vintage advertising tins.
