Several years ago, boxes of these unused tins were found in a warehouse in Chicago. They were made to hold Lucky Brown Pressing Oil that was a hair straightening product directed to African American consumers. The colorful tin is 2&3/4 inches in diameter, and 7/8 inch tall. Lithograph printing on the back includes instructions for the use of Lucky Brown Pressing Oil with and without a hot comb". Distributed and copyright 1938 by Famous Products Co., Chicago, Ill., U.S.A.. Circa 1940s-50s. Mint condition, inside and out. Suitable for a collection of vintage advertising, or Black Americana
