Early pieces from Michigan potter, John Glick. Made at the Plum Tree gallery that he founded in 1964. Both his signatures and the Plum Tree mark are on the bottom of each of these delightful pieces. The open, shallow bowl measures 5&1/4 by 5&3/4 inches. Square, except for the small protruding handles. It is 1&1/2 inches tall. The round, lidded bowl measures about 4&1/2 inches in diameter, and is a little over 3 inches tall, with the lid on. The lid fits beautifully, and reflects the talent of the artist. Both pieces are in mint condition. The beautiful blue and brown colors and glazes cannot be captured in photos, but I did my best!
