Antique smoking pipe holder in the shape of a playful, crouching wiener dog! His back and tail form the holder. There is some surface wear to the finish in the bowl where the pipe rests, but otherwise, nice patina and minimal signs of wear to the finish. There are no marks on this piece, but he can be found in reference books on A. Ronson items. They were made around 1910. It is 4 inches long, by 2&1/8 tall. Included is an old tobacco pipe that is clean, draws well, and displays well (no odor!) The bowl is carved wood, and it has a plastic stem. It displays well with the pipe holder. The pipe measures 5&1/2 inches long. Very heavy for its size...this vintage pipe holder weighs over 9 ounces.
