Based on the 1939 United Artists movie, "King of the Turf". is this large, and complete vintage 1940s board game that is in the original box. The box measures 20 inches long by 11.5 inches wide. It has great graphics on the top, and the game rules and instructions are printed on the inside of the lid. As you can see in the photos, the box is in just fair condition. One entire end flap is missing, and the other two corners are split. The bottom of the box is much better but does have one split corner. Still, it has done a good job of protecting the game inside for these 70+ years. The inside of the box, and all of the pieces are clean and unmarked. The fold over game board is 40 inches long, and 9 inches wide. It is in overall very good condition. The game is complete with all six plastic race horses, the cardboard dice cup, and the three, original Bakelite dice. One of the more difficult 1940s Milton Bradley (Springfield, Mass.) games to find complete.
