Clean, larger size, 8.5 inches long, tin lithograph police car that has excellent graphics and a strong, working, friction motor. Made in the U.S.A. by Lupor Metal Products of New York. Lupor was a smaller toy company that competed with Marx in the 1940s and 50s. They are the same top quality made toys, but made in far fewer numbers, making them more difficult to find than Marx. This one is in very good, played with condition. There are a few light scratches, and 2 small, shallow dents in the roof. I have included several pictures of all sides to best describe the condition. It has all four original wheels that turn freely when the friction motor is activated. No rust.
I currently have several tin toys, and other tin vehicles, and Marx and Lupor tin toys in my shop, and am happy to combine shipping. To see them all, type the word, "Tin toy" in the California Girls search box at the top of this page
If you are ordering more than 1 item from my shop, wait to pay until I send back an invoice with the combined shipping discount.
