The silver content in the gorgeous, antique cigarette case is actually higher than sterling. Marked, "950", and a hallmark I do not recognize. It's quite large, measuring 6&1/2 inches tall, and 3 & 1/4 inches when closed, and 6 & 1/2 when open. It weighs a hefty 200 grams. It has beautiful scroll work design on both sides, and a small, "S" monogram on the front. It's unique in that there is no latch. Sliding the top upwards opens the hinged lid to reveal the beautiful inside. Note that today's filter tip cigarettes will be too long to fit. I've included a photograph with a few old, non filter Lucky Strikes (not included in sale). It is in absolutely beautiful condition. Circa 1910-20.
