Larger than most, antique Pink Pigs figurine that was made in Germany, prior to 1903 as it is not marked. It features two adorable pigs standing on their hind legs inside of an open purse. It measures 4&1/2 inches wide by 3&1/2 inches tall, and 3 inches deep. It's in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The lines seen on the bottom are just in the paint. These were exported to the United States, and often sold at train stations, and other tourist destinations, as souvenirs, often with the name of the town, or state. This one has no town stamp. They were also given away as prizes at local fairs, and thus the term, "Fairing".
I currently have other German, pink pigs, as well as other "fairing" animal figurines in my shop, and am happy to combine shipping. To see them all, type, "fairing" in the California Girls search box at the top of the page.
If you are ordering more than 1 item from my shop, wait to pay until I send back an invoice with the combined shipping discount.
