Vintage 1920s-30s color poster advertising "Genuine Bull Durham Smoking Tobacco". It features a Black lady sitting in a rocking chair on the porch of the General Store smoking her corn cob pipe, which is presumably filled with Bull Durham. It's large size that would have hung on the wall of a store, measuring 25 inches wide by20 inches tall. Over the years, someone had the good sense to shrink wrap it on cardboard to protect it from further damage. So, there is some glare in the photos from the shrink wrap. The poster could be carefully removed. There are a couple of creases in the main body of the poster, which is on heavy paper stock, but most of the damage, and thumb tack holes are around the borders. Looking at the top step to the general store, there is some blue coloring. I don't know if this is water damage. Please feel free to email if you would like any other close up photos.
