Antique, Kewpie doll that is just under 7 inches tall. She is made of composition material, and as you can see in the photos, there is some damage to the compo material, particularly to the toes on her left foot. A hard to find piece, in that while this is a doll, with jointed arms, it is hollow and was sold holding talcum powder. She still has the most often missing metal shaker lid on the back of her head. There is a paper sticker label on the bottom that reads, "La Compagnie Vendome Paris*New York". There is a paper, heart sticker on her chest that reads, "Kewpie Talcum, reg. U.S. Pat. Off.". Researching this piece, I have found that it originally came with 2 other labels on the back. One was dated 1913, and the other identified it as a Rose O'Neil piece. Please look at all of the photos carefully, as they are of all angles, and best describe the condition.
