Festive, vintage Mexican sombrero hat that has an ornate design, and 5 dangling charms. Circa 1930s-40s, it has the old style, open c clasp pinback. The sombrero is good size, measuring 2&1/8 inches in diameter. It is faintly marked on the back, "925" (see last photo). The charms are not marked, and as you can see in the photos, it is obvious from the green verdigris that the solder used to hold the charms. and attach the hat band, was lead. It is slightly tarnished, and could use a polishing, but overall in excellent condition, with no missing charms. Please note that the photos are ENLARGED to show detail, and refer to the printed measurements.
