Circa 1930s, and made by the Kronheim & Oldenbusch (K&O) Company, New York. Bronze colored, heavy white metal thermometer/ashtray/pin or paper clip dish, depicts a sailor boy at the ship's wheel. Inside the wheel is the thermometer, which is stuck on 50 degrees. Inside the tray is a metal banner that says, "Detroit". It is about 4 inches tall, by 4&3/4 long, by 2.5 inches wide. Nice old, Michigan souvenir. Great condition, less the non working thermometer. Heavy for its size, it weighs 1 pound, before packing.
