This vintage 1940s, heavy glass paperweight is a multitasker! Given as a promotion by the Columbia Pipe Company, of Columbia, South Carolina. It serves as an efficient advertising tool, paper weight, mirror, and entertainment piece. When you are tired of working, you can primp, or shoot craps! Inside the glass is a compartment that contains two, tiny, bakelite dice. The mirror on the bottom shows some wear, but the top and inside are perfect. In my photos, there are some small white specks, that were remnants of an old price sticker. They have since been cleaned away. There is also a lot of glare in my photos, because of the bright, smooth, solid glass. A great piece to add to your collection of vintage advertising.
I currently have several other advertising pieces in my shop, and am happy to combine shipping. To see them all, type, "advertising" in the California Girls search box at the top of this page
