Circa 1960-70, this vintage, heavy restaurantware plate was designed by Russel Wright, and made by Sterling China for the once famous, but now defunct, Harold's Club and Casino gambling hall in Reno Nevada. It measures a little over 11 inches in diameter. The Western motif border is one that was used on various designs. The center image is the less common style with a gun and gunpowder flask. It's in overall very good condition, with minor utensil marks, and a small chip on the underside of the rim (see close up photo). The former owner had it displayed hanging on a wall. I've left the plate hanger in place, in case the next owner wants to also display it on a wall. A great addition to your collection of vintage advertising pottery or casino/gambling memorabilia. This weighs 2&1/2 pounds, before packing, and thus the high shipping (priority mail)
I currently have several pieces of restaurantware in my shop, including Wallace and Tepco, and am happy to combine shipping. To see them all, type, "restaurantware" in the California Girls search box at the top of this page
