Circa 1930's, this chalk pair is in much better shape than most that you see. Although there a few paint chips, and 2 tiny chips on Kayo, the paint is clean and still retains its shine. These have holes, and are considered salt and pepper shakers. They don't seem extremely functional as such, to me, but are great, little chalk figurines of 2 beloved, long time comic strip characters. They are about 2&1/2 inches tall. They are inscribed in the molds on the backs, but I can't read it.
