A handsome couple stands atop a 2 tier, wedding cake looking, chalk base. Around them is a cloth covered, wire arch that is decorated with cloth flowers. The bride's gown is painted pearly white, with hand painted, green accents for her bouquet. I'm not sure what uniform the groom is wearing. Military? Policeman? Fireman? It's blue, with gold buttons and a white hat. This topper was used, but is bright and clean, and must have been stored with care because the cloth flowers have not yellowed. The groom has a couple of small paint dings on the back, and the bride has a spot of old, yellowed glue on her head, where a lace veil was once attached. Otherwise, great condition, and ready to grace your wedding cake, or become a favorite piece in your collection of vintage wedding cake toppers. The couple, alone, is 4&1/2 inches tall (a little taller than most from this era). The overall height is 8&1/4 inches. Dated 1950.
