Sweet, 18 inch, 1930's, composition Shirley Temple doll. She's marked, "Shirley Temple" on her back, between her shoulders, and, "Shirley Temple with a C in a circle Ideal and a few other letters that are blurred, on the back of her neck. Shirley is in good condition for her age with, what I believe, is her original mohair wig. As you can see in the photos, her hair is matted, and needs to be styled. It is, however, clean with no odors. Her sleep eyes open and close properly, but about 1/3 of her lashes are missing. Her eyes have become clouded over the years, as most of the Shirley dolls from this era have. She has red lips with open mouth, and teeth showing, and red nostril holes. She's jointed at neck, shoulders and hips and does not need to be restrung. She holds a pose well. All fingers and toes are there, but the tips of 2 fingers on her left hand are missing on the bottom side. There is some crazing overall but basically in good condition with the only lifting being to a small spot on the inside of her left foot. I love dolls, but am in NO WAY an expert. So, I include a lot of photos, and try to be a descriptive as I can with my limited knowledge. Please email if you have specific questions, or would like more pictures.
