The patent dates on the bottom place this wonderful, vintage Christmas tree in the 1930's. The base is porcelain, chalk, or other heavy ceramic material. The form of the tree is cardboard. It has a cloth cord, that is not frayed at all. The plastic plug is the old style, and I wouldn't leave it on, and unattended for long periods of time. All of the glass bulbs, and the glass star on top are original. The tree is made of a fuzzy, pearly white material. It looks dingy from age, and I think the bulbs would shine even brighter if each bulb was cleaned. Other than being dingy, the tress is in great condition, especially considering its 75 years of age. It's 11 inches tall.
