Awesome "Brewery Workmen" pinback ribbon. It's marked, "International Union of United Brewery Workmen of America". This name was used from 1903 until 1917, when the name changed to include flour, cereal and soft drink workers. As you can see in the photos, it's in very good condition, considering its age. The celluloid cover on the center emblem is cracked, but the printing underneath is still quite readable. There is wear to the front of the red ribbon, but you can still read, "Local Union No. 352, Reno, Nevada". It measures 7&1/2 inches long, by 2&1/4 wide. The pin is in fine working order. The back of the medallion is marked, "Whitehead & Hoag & Co., Newark, N.J., Patent applied for". A real piece of history for the brewery, or American unions collector.
