This antique photo album has a lovely winter scene with a cabin and snow on the celluloid cover. All around the scene is a raised, embossed pattern. The spine, and back are covered in red, pink and white crushed velvet. Inside are 15, double sided pages that each have a nice design where the photo would be inserted. There are no pictures included, and a few of the pages have torn corners, where photos were removed. There is no soiling inside to speak of, but the heavy pages have yellowed a bit, especially around the edges. NO MOLD or musty smell. There is minor wear to the velvet, but it is still bright and colorful. No rips, tears, or holes. The spine is nice and tight. I haven't tried to clean it, and as you can see in the photos, the celluloid could use it. The gold colored hook is there, but the clasp is MISSING. The gold on the outside edges of the pages is mostly intact. It measures about 8&1/2 by 10&1/2 inches. I apologize for the high shipping, but it weighs almost 5 pounds before packing.
