Although this guy has seen better days, his wonderful, hand painted, very ethnic, composition face is almost perfect. Once he was a marionette, but now the strings are gone. Also missing is something he was holding in his right hand. It was probably a straw maraca, like in his left hand. He's 15 inches tall. His straw hat is glued to his head. His hands are made of a hard plastic material. His feet are wood, and on the bottom of one is, "Mexico". Circa 1940's-50's.
I have several pieces of vintage Black Americana in my shop, and am happy to combine shipping and insurance on multiple purchases. To see them all, type "Black Americana" in the search box on the top of this page
