British .925 sterling repousse cap tops off this exquisite cut Rock Crystal perfume bottle. The perfume is designed to lay down as appropriate at the time of it's manufacture. Genuine rock crystal, of exceptional fineness, it looks like galss! The clarity is of the highest quality. The cap is decorated in a floral foliate design. The upper portion of the crystal delicately hand painted with white enamel lattices accented with dots, and textured swags. The lower portion of the perfume is intricately cut in an exquisite pattern. This is a rare and fine quality perfume. The only real flaw is that I can't find the stopper. Otherwise, there is some minor wear to the enamel. The cap and the sterling rim bear the English sterling guarantee for .925 sterling; the Lion Passant. The rim clearly shows the city mark for Birmingham, the date mark for 1893 and the maker's punch for Levi & Salaman. Levi & Salaman founded their partnership in 1870.
Dimensions: 5.25" long and 1" diameter at the widest.
