I just love these plates! They are so delicate and subtle in decoration. They have pale yellow bands on white ground and are edged with gold. The bands are painted with roses and foliate twining vines, each plate a variation on this theme. The delicacy of coloration, style and unique pattern for each plate, all executed very nicely indeed, make these plates understated and elegant! Very difficult to photograph because of the unusual coloration.
Condition is excellent. No loss; no signs of use. Clearly these plates were lovingly cared for over the years. The mark dates from 1890-1932; that's as close as I can get to the age of the plates.
