I love old silver! Especially when it's from the 18th Century. So hard to find silver earlier than 1800, and these salts are nicely preserved. They have gadrooned edges and three hoofed feet. The marks are rubbed; but the date mark, the city mark and the lion passant are quite discernable. On the bottoms there is an inscription: A present from Mrs. Fraser. Dimensions: 3" wide by 1 1/2" tall. Condition: very good! Some heavy tarnish inside and a couple of very minor dings on the bottom. There is wear from rubbing on the edges and the marks.
