What a stunning grand parure by Alfred Phillippe patented for Trifari on August 18, 1953, patent #17028 and #170211. The emerald green rhinestones are dazzling and bring life to this beautiful parure. The set is a book piece shown in "Collecting Costume Jewelry 303" by Julia Carroll on page 203. Every piece is signed either with the Crown T or patent pending additionally. Just look at the condition including the gold-tone and rhodium plating. Someone dearly loved this gorgeous set and took particular care of it. I see no wear anywhere on it, evidence that this was a special set for its previous owner. A Maine estate piece, one can not ask for better vintage condition. The set is 63 years old! The necklace measures 15-1/2 "in length with a shepard's hook closure and has an additional 2 and 1/2" to expand the length. The bracelet measures 7 and 1/4" long and is 5/8" wide. The clasp closes with a good snap and is marked as shown in the photos. The brooch is 2" tall and 1 and 1/2" in width, with the clip earrings measuring 1" by 3/4". If you collect Trifari, this is an amazing set to add to your collection.
