This pretty sterling and turquoise necklace is signed by the artist who is probably Navajo from the signature, and it is definitely Navajo in style. It is signed by the artist on the back and is marked 925 on the chain itself. The pendant portion measures 1 and 7/8" from the top of the bale to the bottom and 1 and 3/8" in width. The turquoise is a blue green with a natural light gray matrix. It measures 18mm by 13mm and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The chain is 18" in length and is marked for sterling as shown. The pendant itself is also sterling though unmarked but tested and guaranteed as such. It is extremely well made with deep file marks in the feather, raindrops at the top and a hand curved base and hand set turquoise. It you love Native American jewelry, then this vintage Maine estate item will make a great addition to your collection.
