If you collect vintage ring boxes to display your favorite rings on your vanity, this pretty cream color celluloid ring box is in excellent condition, both inside and out. It will hold two rings and is clean with no odors. The red velvet is in excellent condition as is the silk on the cover with the jeweler's name. There are no chips or cracks, and the lid closes with a good snap and a tight hinge. It measures 3 and 1/4" in length by 1 and 3/4" in depth and 1 and 1/2" in height. There is no maker's mark on the bottom. The box would also make a lovely shower gift for a bride -to-be as it is a nice way to carry and present both rings at the wedding. It dates from the 1940's to 1950's and would fit the "something old" category for the bride. It is also a great way to protect your favorite rings when you are not wearing them!
