A very pretty antique Impressionistic print. The print is based on the painting by Anders Zorn titled "By the Sprint Streamlet" which was done in 1908. Zorn was a painter and print maker, his work evolved when he let his models pose naturally, he was one of the first artist to paint nudes in the outdoors. This fine example of his work has a very tranquil scene of a woman in the woods. It is in a wood frame and has a mat and glass, there are labels on the back. I believe the print itself dates circa 1940s or so. Overall dimensions are 13 1/8" wide x 16 1/4" high. The print is in very good overall condition. There is minor wear to the frame and toning to the mat, see photos. The print would be perfect in any antique decor, it is lovely.
