A nice set of vintage bookends depicting Robert Burns. The Bookends feature the quotation "Should auld acquaintance be forgot and days o auld lang syne", it is from is a poem written by Robert Burns in 1788 and is its traditionally used to bid farewell to the old year at the stroke of midnight. The Bookends are made of spelter metal with a bronze toned finish and are signed on the back. Each Bookend measures 5 1/2" wide x 4 3/4" x 1 3/4". The set is in very good overall condition and would be perfect in an antique Library decor.
