A very pretty pair of circa 1928 Art Deco Curtain or Drapery Tiebacks. The Tiebacks are made of cast iron and are in the figural form of Pink Flowers, they retain the original paint and are dated on the back "PAT 9-11-28 (1928)". They are large with each measuring 3" x 6 1/2" long, they have a great design with the mounting bracket cast right in the design, the curtain slips behind the flower so they would have to be light weight fabric like lace because both the bracket end and leaf tip lay flat (they aren't curved out like typical tiebacks), they would probably work to hold a curtain bracket too. Both Tiebacks are in very good overall condition with no cracks in the metal. There is wear to the finish, but they display well and would be perfect in an antique decor.
