An antique (circa late 1800s) advertising Hat Rack, Cane Holder. The Hat Rack is made of wood and is marked "A. L. FOSTER & CO., 43-53 Asylum St, Hartford Conn. (Connecticut), Operators of 27 Stores, Clothiers, Hatters, Men's Furnishers". It has hook for your hat and a round loops for your cane or walking stick. Overall dimensions are 12 1/2" high x 8 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" deep. The Hat Rack, Cane Holder has wear to the finish, rust to the metal and a split in the wood on the left side, see photos. It is a neat piece of advertising from the Victorian, Edwardian era.
