A lovely pair antique Victorian figurines of Children. The figurines date circa 1870-1880s and are made of heavy bisque porcelain. They are well modeled with excellent attention to detail and have hand painted features. The little girl is holding a puppy or dog and the boy has a walking stick. They are not marked but are German or French in origin. The figurines stand 9 5/8" high and are in good overall condition. The only things to note are a few tiny nicks on the bottom edge and wear to the gold, see photos. The Girl has two in-the-making imperfections on the bottom edge including a clay shrink line and a tiny piece of clay missing. The figurines would be perfect in a Victorian era decor, they are beautiful!
