Rare 19thC American Woven Ingrain Rug, Carpet, Victorian Textile

A rare Antique (circa later part 1800s American Ingrain Rug, Carpet. The Rug feels like wool, it has a beautiful green and black leaf design, the rug is reversible. This is a runner style carpet, room sized Ingrain Rugs were simply multiple runners sewn together, each being the width of a loom of the era. This Rug measures 35" x 145" long (11 1/2 feet x just shy of 3 feet). The Ingrain Carpet is in good condition for the age. The ends are not bound and there are some faded spots on the predominately dark green side, see photos. These are very hard to find because of their use, this fine example is perfect for a Victorian era decor.

We ship Worldwide. This will be a heavy, oversized package, any overcharge on shipping will be refunded less a small bit to cover packing materials.
