Vintage Folk Art Duck Decoy, Hand Made from Log

I just love this Folk Art Duck Decoy, he is made from what someone had on hand including his long log wood body and his metal tack eyes. The decoy is a hard wood and measures 18 1/2" long x 8 1/4" high x 5 1/4" wide, he is quite heavy. I would date him circa 1950s or so. He was made to be used and has a weight on the bottom. He is in good overall condition. One side has a loss but it was how he was made since it was painted right over. The Decoy has a wonderful Naive, Folk style and would be great in a Hunting, Primitive or Rustic decor.
