Antique 19thC Tole Tin Advertising Box, Hektograph, Original Tole Paint

An antique (circa 1800s advertising box. The box is made of tin and has the original tole finish, the background is japanned black and the lettering is gilt gold, it is a top and bottom section, it was never hinged. I believe this was used for a type of drafting tool, this listing is for the box. Overall dimensions are 12" x 9 7/8" x 5/8" deep. The tole box is in good overall condition, the graphic's are great.
