Antique Poodle, Spaniel Dog with Top Hat, Match Safe, Desk, Vanity Accessory

A charming Antique (circa late 1800s) Victorian Match Safe in the figural form of a Poodle or Spaniel Dog holding a Top Hat. The Top Hat holds the matches and the textured sides act as a striker. The Poodle Dog is made of spelter metal with a brass toned finish and the base is slate, stone. Overall dimensions are 5" high x 4" in diameter at the base. The Dog Match Holder is in good overall condition. The only thing to note is some wear to the finish on the base and a few small chips in the slate edges.
