Antique French Bust of Wilhelm Richard Wagner, Music Composer

A nice Antique Bust depicting German Musical Composer Wilhelm Richard Wagner (1813-1883). In addition to being a composer, Wagner was a theater director, polemicist, and conductor. He is chiefly known for his operas. The Bust was cast in France and has a Paris Foundry mark on the back along with an artist name "G Leroux". The Bust measures 11" high x 7 1/2" across his shoulders. Wagner is in very good overall condition. The only thing to note is a very small nick in the metal on the back of one should. The Bust display nicely and would be perfect in a Music related collection
