A nice Antique (circa late 1800s, early 1900s) Ecclesiastical Processional Lantern. The Lantern has frosted glass panels with a frosted finish which are decorated with Crosses. This was meant to be used for a Candle and has a hinged door for access. the Lantern is made of metal with a gold painted finish, it would have been mounted to a wood pole to carry in front of a Priest, it would be perfect to use with a flag pole bracket in a house or garden. The Lantern is Large at 23 1/4" x 11" wide across the side finials. The Candle Lantern is in very good overall condition. There is some roughness to the edges of the glass inside which is simply how they were cut. This would be lovely in any antique decor.
