Offered for purchase is a beautiful PH Leonard Austria Grapes/Currants Motif Pitcher (c.1890-1920) hand-painted/decorated in the US or Canada as part of the Arts & Crafts movement. According to Mary Frank Gaston’s “Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain”, P.H. Leonard was a US based importer of Limoges porcelain from 1890’s until World War I. The pitcher is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks or repairs, although there are some surface scratches and wear from age and use. The pitcher is approximately 7.25 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter from handle to spout. The bottom is marked as indicated in the pictures.
