Offered for purchase is a beautiful Limoges "Mark 6" Arts & Crafts "Wild Hollyhock" Design Plate (Signed "Mary Catherine Cremer McFaddin"/Dated 1914). The design for this plate is by J.M. Culbertson and is found in the March 1913 edition of Keramic Studio Magazine. Keramic Studio Magazine was a monthly publication for the amateur porcelain/china decorator which provided designs, detailed instructions on porcelain/china decorating, as well as articles and photographs of competitions and displays between various china decorating studios and clubs. The magazine was first published in May 1899 and continued into the late-1920’s. The plate is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks or repairs, although there are some surface scratches and wear from age and use. The plate is approximately 8.5 inches in diameter. The bottom is marked as indicated in the pictures.
