Offered for purchase is a beautiful Porcelain Blank Arts & Crafts Peacock Motif Biscuit Jar (c.1910-1930). The design for this item is by Alice Witte Sloan and may be found in the February 1906 issue of Keramic Studio Magazine.
The jar is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks or repairs, although there are some surface scratches and wear from age, and a manufacturing defect on the rim of the lid which is covered in the original gold trim. The dish is approximately 6 inches in diameter and 7.75 inches tall including the led. The bottom is marked as indicated in the pictures.
