Offered for purchase is a beautiful Haviland Limoges Nasturtium Motif Pedestal Centerpiece Bowl (c.1902-1931) hand-painted/decorated in the US or Canada as part of the Arts & Crafts movement.
The design for this item is by Adelaide Alsop-Robineau and may be found in the June 1902 issue of Keramic Studio. The magazine was first published in May 1899 and continued into the late-1920’s. We can provide photocopies of the page from the publication with the design of this item with your purchase if specifically requested.
The bowl is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks or repairs, although there are some surface scratches, minor glaze scuffs, and wear from age and use. The bowl is approximately 8.75 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches tall. The bottom is marked as indicated in the pictures.
