Offered for purchase is a beautiful Heinrich & Co. (H&Co.) Selb Bavaria Arts & Crafts Stenciled Floral Design Vase (c.1911-1935). The design of this vase is by Mrs. Smith from the St. Louis School of Fine Arts and is found in the November 1911 issue of Keramic Studio Magazine. Keramic Studio Magazine was a monthly publication for the amateur porcelain/china decorator which provided designs, detailed instructions on porcelain/china decorating, as well as articles and photographs of competitions and displays between various china decorating studios and clubs. The magazine was first published in May 1899 and continued into the late-1920’s. We can provide photocopies of the page from the publication with the design of this item with your purchase if specifically requested.

The vase is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks or repairs, although there are some minor surface scratches and wear from age and use. The vase is approximately 9.75 inches tall and 5.75 inches in diameter at the widest. The bottom is marked as indicated in the pictures.
