Offered for purchase is a beautiful T&V Limoges Arts & Crafts Butterfly Motif Centerpiece/Punch Bowl (Signed "L. Chickesten"/c.1908-1930) hand-painted/decorated in the US or Canada as part of the Arts & Crafts movement. The design for this item is called "Rosedale" and may be found in the March 1908 issue of Keramic Studio Magazine. Keramic Studio Magazine was a monthly publication for the amateur porcelain/china decorator which provided designs, detailed instructions on porcelain/china decorating, as well as articles and photographs of competitions and displays between various china decorating studios and clubs. The magazine was first published in May 1899 and continued into the late-1920’s. The bowl is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks or repairs, although there are some minor surface scratches from age and use. The bowl is 4.5 inches deep and 10 inches in diameter. The bottom is marked as indicated in the pictures.
