This bold and beautiful Victorian Chain stated out as a watch chain but has been slightly modified to be worn as a choker or collar length necklace (just shy of 15 1/2" in wearable length) The gold filled surface is in good antique condition. It has a small jump ring on the central bar from which a pendant or locket could be suspended. The chain is a pink hued gold and a large bolt ring and jump ring was added in order to lengthen the chain. These parts are also antique, and slightly more golden in color. There is a tiny darkened spot on one link which appears to be soft solder when viewed through a loupe. This is shown very clearly in picture #5 on the left side where the links are in sharp focus. These Victorian chains are sought after for their unique construction and progressive style! Why not own one in affordable gold fill?
